The green gold.
"The drink of the gods or Messi's magic potion." This is how the infusion made from the leaves of the mate tree is often described.
Mate is ubiquitous in South America, but still a hidden gem here.
Try it out.
Especially popular.

With the Mate Cuia Set, preparing mate is incredibly easy, and the infusions can be perfectly dosed. Try it out.
How do you drink mate tea?
Mate will likely be different from any drink you've encountered before, both in taste and in the way it's consumed. Traditionally, yerba mate (mate leaves) is placed in a drinking vessel called a gourd, mate, or cuia, filled with cold or hot water, and drunk through a bombilla (mate drinking straw).
Mate tea, iced tea or lemonade.
You don't have to drink mate through the bombilla.
You can prepare your mate just like you would tea. In a tea strainer, with a tea infuser, or a French press. Steep the mate leaves in hot or cold water or juice. Enjoy it pure or with other herbs.
And if you like it fresh and fizzy, then feel free to try the caamate syrup .
